For new Riders, Crescent Stables Seaside is located at Heron Bay Stables, at 2675 64th Street.
Crescent Stables Seaside offers lessons and leasing at Heron Bay, along with our Unicorn Club programming.
For experienced Riders, Crescent Stables Westside is located at 3749 Arthur Drive.
Crescent Stables Westside offers boarding, leasing and lessons in a brand new comprehensive facility.
Surrounded by over 9.5 acres of riding areas, paddocks and pastures, Crescent Stables Westside is home to a full service Equestrian Centre offering boarding, lessons and training in Ladner’s most comprehensive facility. Crescent Stables has been operating for almost 50 years. Under the ownership of Dr. Susan Thompson since 2002, we’re continuing to provide local equestrians with quality and value in our programs and services. We are located less than 20 minutes from Vancouver.
Visitors and clients are welcome by appointment.

Learn to ride
Crescent Stables offers a comprehensive Riding School Program focusing on English riding and horsemanship, with the opportunity for more advanced riders to specialize in dressage or hunter/jumper training.
We have one of the largest selections of quality school horses in the area with over 25 horses in our lesson string, with horses and ponies to suit all sizes and levels of experience.
Advanced Coaching
Crescent Stables is home to several advanced coaches who provide specialized training for hunter/jumper and dressage riders. Instruction is available on students’ own horses or our school horses. Whether you are training for competition, or simply seeking a “personal best,” our coaches will tailor an individual learning plan to help you achieve your personal goals.
Train your horse
Horse too slow? Horse too fast? Horse goes sideways, but not when you ask? Steering a bit iffy? Want your horse to be softer to the aids, or carry more behind, or jump without rushing? Jump without stopping and having a think about it? Crescent can provide training for your young, or thinks it is young, horse or pony. We can also rehabilitate horses that are crooked, or heavy, or are not coming through the back in a swingy way. Using a combination of therapeutic lunging, massage, ground work and riding, Crescent can help you and your horse have the relationship you want to have, in a safe and fun manner!
Board your horse
At Crescent we strive to provide the best possible care for your horse. Our boarding services include a variety of amenities and services including full training, 24/7 staff on site, various stall arrangements, and plenty of perks for your horse’s human counterpart.
