To be honest I was really skeptical of MAX before I went in. They were a lot of posting about it being a scam. I did my interview with them a few months ago and I decided to sign up. They...(like 99% of talent agencies in Toronto except the ones that only accept established actors and models) don't pay for your photos. They do however allow you to get your own which was great because I had a professional porfolio already and they let me use it. I have since been getting quite a bit of work.

Amazing atmosphere, super friendly people. We moved into the East York area about 2 years ago and we always go there for a fun time. The food is always fresh nothing frozen, the beer is always cold and most important Tom (The bartender) is always super nice pouring liquors. Great family run business and if your having a bad day Tom will tell you jokes or he will find a way to put a smile on your face :) :)

He then strongly advised me not to drive far on the spare and had me tell him where I planned to go. Given the slashed tire totally complicated my day, Kris made it as easy as possible. The staff does an amazing job. They are all super friendly, professional and know their stuff about tanning. My 77 year old sterling mug (like its owner) has collected a few dings and dents over the years. As I want to pass it on to our grandson, I took it to Britannia Silversmiths for repair and polishing.
As you can see, they did a marvelous job and I can now pass it on.

I love a good neighbourhood store. This shop has a huge selection of just about anything you could want. We have bought scores of shoes, winter boots and most recently I picked up a gorgeous pair of moccassins for my daughter - the kind of surprise where we buy them together and put them away for Christmas!
