I come to this place because it is close proximity to where I live. The atmosphere of this place is amazing. There are booths set up like Japanese-styled rooms, jazz music is played in the background (okay not authentic, but meh), the chopsticks are placed in either bamboo boxes or in mini-kimonos. The food, well, it really depends on what your order. I give top marks to the rolls they have, and I especially recommend the Toronto and Monster rolls, those two are unique in their own ways. I didn't like their sushi and sashimis, found their fish rather not fresh. The ramen and udons are excellent. Tempura is a no-go. Service-wise is quite wishy washy due to a lack of staff, especially if you're sitting by the booths. The ring for service technique is ineffective; even I can't tell how the mechanism will notify waitresses that you need assistance. They are very friendly though. Will I visit again? Yes, of course. Just know what you're ordering. Hey, if you visit often, the chefs sometimes give something new for you to try! Lire plus

my friends and I were looking for a Korean restaurant with fresh taste and clean atmosphere and Steeles Seoul House definitely delivered our wants! The food was really good and the staff was really friendly too! I truly recommend saeng sun jjim (fried fish with oyster sauce) and sam gae tang (whole chicken soup with ginseng)! it's definitely a must go place!!! Lire plus

we are here to try something we haven't tried last time~ here we go~ Tempura & Kalbi combo is delicious~ tempura vegis include 3 shrimps, 1 green pepper, 1 cucumber, 1 broccoli, 1 white onion, 1 sweet potato...(maybe i missed 1 more vegi) however, it's very satisfying... grilled kalbi is like bone-in beef teriyaki... very flavorful~ Sushi & Sashimi combo is awesome-ly fresh-ly delicious~ simply excellent for its price~ alright~ here comes the Salmon Head BBQ~ without this meal, I will give them 5 stars on Food catagory~ it's kinda dissapointing that the Salmon Head isn't grilled to order~ the salmon skin isn't charred till crispy~ it's more like it has been "microwaved"~ the interior is a bit hotter than the exterior of the Salmon~ the only drawback of the whole meal~ however~ the rest is still maintained to its perfection so far~ keep it up~ and see you next time~ Lire plus

After seeing *some* favourable reviews and while in the Yorkdale area, I decided to try this place out. So I hope that I'm not being biased after reading unfavourable reviews about their service. We ordered Hwe Dup Bap (sashimi salad) and a dumpling soup with clear noodles - sorry, I don't remember the name. Shortly after placing ordering, 5 side dishes were brought out. Their flavours varied and they were yummy! The salad was perfect for a light, late lunch. Lotsa flavour, especially after adding the sweet/spicy chilli sauce which was provided in a squeeze bottle! My bf said that the dumpling broth was okay. Service-wise, side dishes were taken away, not replenished. And I had to ask for our tea to be refilled! Waitresses seemed waaay more attentive to a table of Korean men. Maybe it's because waitresses are more comfortable speaking their own language. So although service wasn't terrible per se, be a bit proactive to get even better service! Lire plus
