Always yummy as you'd expect from a Swiss chalet. It's a very busy location but certain times of the day it is easier to be seated. Waits aren't usually too long. One time they ran out of chicken! But I love this restaurant and would say its my favourite place for dining.

Have had breakfast, lunch and dinner at McReilly's many times over the years and the food, service and atmosphere is consistently good. Have eaten at some of the other pubs in Barrie, and although the food may be marginally better, they don't have the consistency that McReilly's does.

Hands down the best place to grab a bite and a cold one in Midland. Patio right on the water and excellent service as well as Live Entertainment - what's not to love! The atmosphere was excellent, very friendly staff, the waitress, I think her name Anna Lisa was outstanding, very friendly always smiling and on the ball. One of my favorite restaurants in Barrie. We've been here many times for many special occasions. We always enjoy the food and experience every time we go. Today we tried his brunch menu and it was really good as well. We had the Eggs Benny and Breakfast Poutine, along with a side of the homemade onion and apple sausages. Delicious. Now if all brunch tasted like that I'd eat brunch a lot more often.

Change did Mom's good. Not sure who the new owners are, but we only went back because we heard the old ones were gone. The biggest difference, these people care, my breakfast was fast, hot, and very good. I went to college up the road, and after being treated poorly repeatedly by the previous owners, I said I would never go back. Well, am I ever glad I did. This is my new favorite breakfast spot in Barrie. Love it. Great job Mom's!!!!

Some food was a little salty but the portion sizes are generous. Too much batter on tempura items. The menu is Canadianized as are most Chinese restaurants but I found they have more items to choose from. The Specials that they have for Families of 4 or 5 are pretty decent. Fast service and a convenient location with easily accessible parking.
