I love coming to Vandermeer to look for plants. Even if I don't find what I'm looking for, it's wonderful to see the fish and very relaxing to watch the turtles lounging around. This is the place to shop in the spring and summer - such a variety of plants.

This place is the real deal, Has EVERYTHING possible that you need for landscaping ,
Dirt, sod , gravel etc etc etc etc
I literally remodeled my entire backyard with these guys

My favourite garden centre! Huge selection of houseplants all year long. The greenhouse & nursery are packed with garden goodies throughout the growing season. Great selection of veggie plants! Prices are affordable.

Excellent and friendly service. This wasn’t my first time here but I took in my old lawn mower to see if it could be repaired. He was very quick to look at it and give me an estimate. It was my decision to get it repaired or not after he gave me the price but he was very honest and said because if it’s age it wouldn’’t be in the greatest condition even with repairs. I decided not to have it fixed and there was no charge. Highly recommended!!

My visit to Fern Forest Gardens last summer was absolutely fabulous. From their breathtaking grounds, to array of high quality plants.. I wish I found this local spot sooner! Not to mention, Karen and Tom were so lovely to deal with; Karen's passion beams through this spectatular place. The annuals I bought here were THE BEST I have ever gotten..So lush, and never seemed to stop growing. Karen even gave me lots of great info regarding my favourite, Petunias. Thanks again!!

The nursery has a down to Earth vibe and its staff are more informed than other nurseries in the area. Prices began to rise in the last 2-3 years but this place is still more affordable than Sheridan. Complaints about emerald cedars not living should not solely be put on the nursery but planting and watering. The staff are busy so getting special treatment is difficult (referring to previous comments)

I have been using their products for years now, I will never use anything else. The seed grows fast, the fertilizer makes my lawn so green. I love the organic Wollastonite and I would not garden without it! Think green, think no further.

Both Lorraine and Robert are friendly and always willing to answer my multitude of questions. I like this store. Customer service is excellent. Freshly baked hot bread is just $1 or even less. I buy synthetic oil there for my car for half price, and many other stuff. It would be great if I could find also Christmas Stollen in your store.

He knows his stuff very well and can design and build exactly what you need, he even got me all the paperwork for my permits great guy will continue to use him. Was always a home depot shopper due to its proximity to my house.one day i decided to go to lowes cz they had a good deal on bbq. The customer service was phenominal. I was greeted as soon as i arrived by a young and ready to help associate. I ended up buying more than just bbqs. Never goin back to HD again,u never get this kinda service there. Cheers Lowes!
