So a bunch of us finally headed down to the Blue Canoe for dinner. A few had been there before, and a few hadn't, but we always go and critique places together. Absolutely loved the atmosphere, not a detail was spared in the design of the restaurant.
The real tester is of course the food, and it did not disappoint. They've thrown together some amazing flavours and clearly taken some chances that have worked out in their favour. The Drummettes....I don't eat chicken wings anywhere, but these ones were in a soy sauce of some sort that was fantastic!! The BBQ Salmon was probably the best salmon that I've ever had at a restaurant....not overcooked like most places. So much flavour. That was it for me, but others had a wide variety of food and rave reviews on all counts. A few questions on the sides that they came with, but generous portions and smiles all around. Oh, and the beer is good too...

This is the only place to go in Vancouver area for real Fish and Chips. Chips are golden brown and crispy! Halibut is like a chicken breast; covered in homemade batter that is nicely done.
I find their Malt Vinegar to be a great flavour; some other Fish and Chips outlets serve a cider vinegar which in my estimation just does not 'cut it':.
service has always been great; quick and friendly.

I don't think you can go wrong with that place. I went there for my birthday, best service I had and how great to enjoy the melody of the piano in the background. The filet mignon was great and I can't wait to try the oysters and hopefully I get lucky enought to sit on the roof top patio during summer!

I had their all you can eat fish & chips & added prawns. All of it tasted excellent fast service. My waitress was Cherish & she was very polite & right on top of making sure my drink was full & asking if I would like more fish or chips. Was also a very good price for all that had.
I would highly recommend eating at this location

Wonderful, strolled in for lunch on the advice of a friend. You can order either 3 items for $5.95 or 4 items for $6.95 between the hours of 11:30am and 3:00pm. Delicious food. The prawns were fresh and deep fried to perfection with a light batter, very tasty. The rice held together beautifuly and had a light flavor, easy to eat with chopsticks, the won-ton was your average won-ton soup, good. Sweet and sour pork was delicately flavored and very tender.
The waitress had great sense of humor which was an added bonus! Plenty left over for dinner, Highly recommended. Oh also, on leaving with my doggy bag, I noticed there was a blow-up of a write-up done by a reporter at the Langley Advance. Wong's was voted Langley's #1 chinese restaurant.

My wife and I have enjoyed dining in on only a few occasions; but we have found the food to be delicious, and the service to be exceptional. The take out / pick-up service is most convenient when you're short for time, but have dinner and a movie planned at home. With a little bit of warm-up, plug the movie in, you have a savoury romantic dinner with your significant other and the only consideration is who does the dishes ! Excvellent all round. The view is what theya re known for but they have great service. I like the courtesy and we are impressed that they are consistet with it. Had the Lobester special which was a bargain for $34.

Literally the best. Personally, I think the charge to have fish eggs put on dynamite rolls is a bit pricey however the service is great, the food is amazing, and overall they're prices are pretty reasonable.

I liked the décor, the friendly staff & owners.I ordered the Salmon & Chips (fish & chips made with Salmon instead of Cod or Halibut, which they also had). The Salmon was Wild, & delicious. They have specials & Seniors day, which is nice. This was my second time here. The 1st time I took out of town guests from Okanagan who used to live on West Coast of Vancouver Island. The one request they made for when I was taking them out to dinner was fresh seafood. They loved it. I definitely will return.
