There aren't many places in the area where one can get fish & chips, unless they drive to Barrie and go to Fancies Fish & Chips. Blue Water Fish & Chips is a small restaurant with a tired decor. Mind you there are historical photos of boats that have travelled Georgian Bay & the Great Lakes and are interesting to look at.. We love the halibut served here. While the portion size is small it is extremely tasty, with mild tasting halibut and a golden batter. After the second or third bite you can taste & feel the grease but isn't that to be expected with deep fried fish? I've never eaten fish & chips that I haven't tasted the grease. We hate it when the restaurant is closed for vacation. We love eating here and they even have lots of newspapers and reading material for those of us that prefer to read while we're eating. All we've ever ordered has been the fish & small chips or else we'll order 2 fish and a small chip each and we never go away hungry. Lire plus

I have been to bobbies a number of times over the last 10 years and I have loved their breakfast every time and have invited many of my friends with me. It is worth it. Food is delicious and when treated with respect the staff are all fantastic. Eff Florentine is my favorite. Never had dinner here though. Lire plus

Last weekend we were at a friend's house in Mississauga, small birthday party about 22 people with few kids. The host family took us to Bollywood Unlimited for a desert after food. It was an excellent idea. Adults enjoyed there Malai Kulfi & Nutty Kulfi while kids loved the Mango one. After that we all had paans. I think the expense came out to be about $3.00 per person & it was the best way to finish the party. Everybody took a leave from there only & for last few days we are still discussing this experience with our friends over the phone. I would love to finish a party at my home the same way so people can remember it for days to come. Lire plus

This place is amazing. It's been around a long time. We've been coming here for over 7 years. I never revew on yp but I am writing this because I looked them up and saw that they needed a little love on here. My entire family loves it. It's our go-to Indian restaurant in Mississauga. I've been here multiple times, and I'll admit, the service is not the best I've received. Somedays the owner (who is an old Mexican lady) is extremely thoughtful and talks with us, other times I've been, she's been cold, and barely talks. The food was pretty good...but it isn't that inexpensive. Our 1/2 litre of wine - really good Cab Sauv suggested by our quite competent waiter -was $24.95! Threw us a bit...but our fault as we didn't check the price first :) Pretty nice wine, though. We each had the soup of the day which was very good and came with garlic toast plus we split the nachos which were good as well. I have no complaints...We sat in the bar and the waiter/bartender provided excellent service. I was actually surprised that it was so good...LOL.... Lire plus
