We visited on Sunday for brunch and to celebrate a birthday. We have been here before and loved it so decided to take our out of town guests here to celebrate. They were so impressed with the Blackshop. We had intimate seating for the 6 of us. Several in our group ordered the eggs benedict and they were delicious! Eggs were perfectly poached. There was live music which we really enjoyed. The volume was just right. We will be back again soon!

I have been to this location several times in the last few weeks and overall there has been great consistency.
Service was excellent and the pasta was outstanding! On Fridays you receive unlimited bread or salad, and it tastes great!

My husband and I frequently visit for our Friday night date nights and have never had a substandard meal or service experience. We love the fact that we can have a great meal and a couple of drinks at an affordable price without standing in line. If you like to pay inflated prices for cookie cutter microwaved meals and stand in line for the pleasure, this is not the place for you. The staff has been nothing short of pleasant and accomodating at every visit and make it their business to try to remember their customers. Can't wait for the renovations to be complete so we can resume our Friday night date night ritual. We miss our Olly's!! P.S. The smoked meatloaf is awsome.

Swiss Chalet Franchised first united in the year of 1954 and has been a Canadian favorite ever since. Swiss Chalet is known for its fresh on premise rotisserie chicken; the slow roasted chicken is also served with Canadian potatoes and simmering delicious Chalet dipping sauce. Swiss Chalet, is also known for its incredible tender grilled ribs, also served with sides of fresh cut fries, that makes Chalets food so delicious.
Every Swiss Chalet location has a family orientated atmosphere. The setting consists of casual tables and booth seating as many as twelve customers, comfortable chairs and simple artwork covers the walls. We were lucky enough to be placed beside a warm brick fireplace, on a cold winter afternoon.
As we walked in, we were instantly greeted by the host at Swiss Chalet on Dundas Street in Cambridge, Ontario. He led us to our booth within minutes, as the waitress made her way to our table. The energy around us from the staff, customers and store were welcoming, warm, and crucial to how comfortable, and suitable our lunch was going to be.
The rotisserie chicken club wrap with fries, along with the rotisserie quarter chicken meal with whipped potatoes was ordered during our visit, with excellent service and time management. The server was friendly, engaged in conversation and interest of what we were ordering and how satisfied we were with our Swiss Chalet experience.
Our overall experience at Swiss Chalet, the Cambridge location was delightful. We encourage many individuals to take their date, spouse or family to the nearest location for their next great dinner experience for delicious food, friendly service and comfortable setting.

My friends and I decided to visit Cambridge for an out-of-town getaway. We are all admitted food snobs (one is a chef), so we perused menus and reviews online before heading out (we're from the GTA). It was pretty busy on Friday night so I am glad we made reservations.
We arrived and were seated by a very accommodating host (who we found out later was an owner), and served by one of the most pleasant servers I've ever encountered (perhaps his name was Josh?). Every single employee at that restaurant was happy to be at work, which may not sound important, but it is and is one of the gages I use when I'm dining out. My husband and I both worked in restaurants for years, and happy staff says a lot about the owners, chef and overall customer experience that the server is trying to sell. Josh spoke highly of the owner as well as proudly explained the food and the creativeness of the chef and his menu. The food was fresh, creative and delicious. We were really delighted.
It wasn't a five-star dining experience (but you are not going in expecting that), rather, it is a twist on pub fare that will leave you pleasantly surprised. We also enjoyed that the restaurant was not 'full of itself', the staff, chef and owners were humble and grateful for any compliments and made us feel welcome and appreciated as diners at their restaurant.
My friends and I were sold from the moment we walked in. So much so, that we went back for lunch the next day (it was a no-brainer) and the chef came out to say hi to us and thank us for coming back!
We cannot say enough great things about our experience there. I strongly encourage anyone reading this to visit Cafe 13 and enjoy their great food and hospitality.

This is a gem of a restaurant, tucked into a strip mall. Eaten there three times now, and consistently the food is fresh, tasty, and well prepared. Some highlights - great hot and sour soup; fantastic General Tao's chicken, and fantastic chicken balls. Try the crab cheese wontons for a nice treat, as well.

Our first visit was out of curiosity, having driven by this establishment many, many times. Since we had had our lunch elsewhere in Kitchener, we decided to see what The Easy Pour was all about! We enjoyed a superb glass of red wine & we were served with great welcoming! Our second visit was to have an early afternoon "lunch" which again was decadent! The service was just as friendly and great as our first visit. We would reccommend The Easy Pour to all who like something unique!

I am a semi-regular at this location, and also go to the other locations in Waterloo and Cambridge now and then. The service is pretty snarly, but a bit more attentive than at the other locations. The food is always good. I love their Malaysian Seafood Laksa Noodle Soup, and their pho, as well as their pork balls. Just don't go during the busy dinner hours.

There's a reason this location won best Swiss Chalet of the year in Canada. The renovations, and the food and from what the sever told me newer management. You will not be disappointed.
