We live in Toronto but whenever we're driving past Kingston, Famous King is our favorite place to stop and have a meal. The latest experience was excellent as usual, with fast service and tasty food. They put a lot of meat in the donair, so keep in mind the "go one size smaller than your intuition tells you" suggestion someone else wrote earlier.

This place is awlful and I don't understand why...

This place is awlful and I don't understand why people are raving about it. My friend and I had equally lousy meals in a less than clean atmosphere. This was my first time there in about 2 years and boy has it gone downhill.Will not be back again.

As another poster has said, everything here...

As another poster has said, everything here tastes excellent and is reasonably priced. The Shawarma platter is a personal favourite. Staff is very friendly as well.

After moving away from the best pizza place in...

After moving away from the best pizza place in all of Nova Scotia, my wife and I spent far too much money on terrible pizza in Kingston, trying to find a spot that served decent food. Though Famous King is a little expensive (34.00 for two medium pizzas?!) it is by far the best pizza we've had in this town.
