While the fish and chips were very good, the cole slaw had absolutely no taste, the coffee was luke warm and weak and the services was terrible. There was a custome there who apparently knew the server and owner and another table of people. She was talking across the restaurant to them. We asked for a second cup of coffee and the server spent more time with these people that serving us. We asked for the bill and the same thing happened - we had to wait quite a while for it. No one checked during our meal to see if we needed anything further or how everything was. All in all, very disappointing.
My late husband & our family frequented this restaurant on a regular basis. I miss going as a family unit but I'm still able to order "take out". Next time I will bring my family to the very best seafood restaurant in Nepean on Merivale Road. The staff is greatm the food superb and all items cooked to one's specifications. Excellento!
i cam with a friend just looking for something to eat and came along this nice little restraunt, and fish market. i order the fish and chips my friend had order the grilled halubit. it didnt take long at all to receive. the fish was nice and crisp but yet tender on the inside (just perfect). as for my friend she was amazed on how fresh the halubit tasted it was to die for I for sure will go there again
Terrific seafood at very reasonable prices. The veggies were fresh and crisp, not reheated frozen, with red pepper and string beans. They are very versatile, the special was battered grouper and fries and they accommodated my request for grilled fish with veggies and no rice. Service was wonderful as we were a rambunctious group. My friends scallops were huge and she asked for no seasoning as she has a gluten allergy. She did not suffer a reaction at all.

Seafood is always fresh and served hot with perfect side dishes. I highly recommend the smelts and of course their Calmari! best know for their Fish and chips - I agree! Order the for the Halibut. Staff are very pleasant, laid back and will always give you a recommendation if you are unsure. Note: See something in teh seafood deli next door that isn't on the menu (eg. Shark, Tuna, etc...) - order it and they will cook it to your liking guranteed! They have take-out to. Downside: They need a website showing the full menu!

Both Special and Haddock plates were nicely presented but not very big. I had clams and salad, (instead of fries). I asked for Ceasar salad, but when got bill, was charged $5.95 for it. It was only 1/2 a plate. No rolls to go with meal. Quite disappointed with the overall evening
