Authentic at it's best, no if or buts about it. Helen as brought to North bay what others wish they can! The soup is like no other Won Ton Soup I have tasted ever not even in asian restaurants in the GTA or home made, the care and skill came through with pure delight I could have made a meal of it all on its own. To compliment the meal Helen was the one to serve us ( how often does that happen), she did not only cater to all of our needs but forwarned me that the Chow Mein is Authentic in the true sence and was she ever right, wow to my pure satisfaction more then I could have ever expected. By far the best experience in North Bay and other city's for asian food and I'm not talking only the price but the quality, food like that would be far more expensive in larger erea's no dought about it. The restaurant is pleasent and clean with the presence of true WELCOME, Helen should be proud but most of all North Bay should feel blessed to have this kind of class not only in it's city but in the downtown core.

We had sticky rice bundles and shrimp dumplings to start. Quite excellent. As good or better than dim sum style in Ottawa and Toronto.
Dinner was highly pleasing. The pickerel was cooked perfectly and was very tasty. It came on a bed of mixed vegetables. The beef dish was very fine and delicious indeed.
The desert was fabulous - it was mango sherbet - made right at the restaurant. We also had ginger and green tea shortbread cookies and lavender and chocolate shortbread.
Must mention that the aloe vera green tea was most refreshing and delicious.
We had wine and chinese jasmine tea.
The decor is modern, ancient and beautiful at the same time. The soft music is uniquely suitable to the environment. Bathrooms are very clean.
North Bay is a nice place but one does not expect a restaurant of this caliber. This place is top notch for any city. We go every time we are in North Bay. Their lunch buffet is also excellent!
The atmosphere of the restaurant was amazing! I was surprised to find such a beautiful place in such a small town. The service was great as everyone was friendly and helpful. The walnut chicken was very unique and one of the best dishes I've had at an Asian restaurant. The hostess said that each meal was a serving for one, but the portions were very large and 1 meal would have been enough for two people. The washrooms were a little run down, which was a bit surprising, but overall, we had a great experience!

It was nice to finally go to a fine dining asian restaurant. The food was amazing, especially the cashew chicken and the egg role. I swear the plum sauce for the egg role was home-made. Will DEFINITALY be going back!
