Pioneer Family Pools

Did not dig our pool according to signed specifications, resulting in overcosts and poor handling of the situation with town permits.

Review is for pool construction. Dealt with the sales mgr and he has a policy to not provide referrals. He referred us to social media for reviews. Reviews were difficult to discern what was a review for the store or Oakville pool construction. If we took the reviews at face value, we would not have gone with Pioneer. He was clear that he does not have or give references. He finds it ‘intrusive’. We felt strongly that when spending $100k+, you should at a minimum speak to other customers.

Advertise on ground pools installation but don’t give u a quote because they don’t install anymore ... got excuses about personnel issues. Would not recommend this location .

Quick to secure the sale but TERRIBLE at service, quality of workmanship and effectiveness when dealing with issues. Incorrect placement of pool in the backyard, incorrect size of collar poured, incorrect installation of pool cover grommets resulting in damage to stone and delayed closing by month due to losing our safety cover. The cover is still missing? incompetent at every step.

The in store service guys were great in helping me sort out an issue with defective seals on a valve. They have a good supply of parts.
